Pattern and mould production
Here at Modelleria GR, we produce foundry equipment from 3D designs. This is made possible by our production department team, where workers versed in operating CNC machining centres are capable of processing a variety of materials, including resins, aluminium alloys, bronze alloys, steel, cast iron, and multilayers.
Our CNC machining centres
Modelleria GR is equipped with three 3-axis CNC machining centres:
1. MAZAK VTC300 with a fixed table and a working area of 1740x760x660 mm
2. MAZAK VCN510C with a slide table and a working area of 1050x510x510 mm
3. HAAS VF6SS with a slide table and a working area 1626x813x762 mm
The three centres allow our team to optimise all production processes, reducing lead times.
Production with casting resins
When the number of patterns to be mounted on a plate is high, a master pattern is created using the CNC machining centres and then copies are made with casting resin in order to reduce costs.
We work with both epoxy and polyurethane resins from the best manufacturers on the market, which ensure excellent results in terms of stability and wear resistance.
