Shells

We produce steel shells for aluminium castings. The advantages of shell castings include:

• Longer mould service life compared to resin patterns
• Lower casting weight and wall thickness
• Better surface finish with automated processes
• More accurate dimensions and reduced draft angles
  
  Shell castings are suitable for medium-volume lots and guarantee excellent precision with high standardisation of production processes. Once the design is confirmed, using the same process followed for other products, the shell is produced by CNC machining.
